Amba wins in largest ever Innovate UK funding competition
Innovate UK will fund national pilot of the Amba service

Amba has won funding in the largest ever Innovate UK funding competition. Over 8600 companies entered – more than the combined number of entries in all Innovate UK competitions last year.
Innovate UK is the UK’s innovation funding agency. Announcing the results, Innovate UK said “The competition aims to fast-track the development of innovations borne out of the coronavirus crisis while supporting the UK’s next generation of cutting-edge start-ups – helping to build the businesses of tomorrow and propel their future prosperity.”
Amba’s CEO said “It was highly competitive with thousands of excellent companies pitching. The process was fast and intensive and it’s a great credit to everyone at Innovate UK that they got the job done when there was such a huge response.”
“There are 9 million people in the UK over 70 years old. We can now redouble our efforts to help them stay safe and well, with great technology and outstanding carers.”
